I’ve been dreaming of a solar-powered future since I saw a PBS special about a solar-powered car competition when I was 12 years old. I got curious and reached out to Tesla solar a couple years ago, but all I got was a sales pitch and relentless pestering follow-up. Now at a new house with a HUGE south-facing roof, I was curious again but wanted to have a real conversation about pros, cons, details, and specifics. Kris delivered in spades. Together we designed 3 different system options, seeing exactly where the panels would go and how much power we could expect them to generate versus how much power we have used and expect to use in the future. We discussed tax credits, financing, and different ways to calculate value. While I haven’t pulled the trigger on installing the system yet, there is no question that I will work with Kris and his team when we’re ready.
